Violinist Roberto Alonso Trillo has just released his new album "SOLO. Violín Contemporáneo", which features works for unaccompanied violin by living composers including my work Tres preludios a una cabanga
Click here for the album's iTunes page.
Tres preludios is a work in three movements which takes its name from the traditional Panamanian story of a man who loses his wife and, as a means to cope with his suffering, begins to eat nothing but cabanga, a kind of dessert. We will usually say someone is "eating cabanga" or simply that they have cabanga if they seem nostalgic.
I hope you enjoy the piece!
