Residency in Salvador, Brazil



For two weeks, Robles served as guest conductor and clinician for NEOJIBA—Núcleos Estaduais de Orquestras Juvenis e Infantis da Bahia. The project offers more than 150 children and youngsters from all walks of society in two orchestras. The program is run and was founded by famed pianist Ricardo Castro.

Samuel has recently been invited back to Bahía to work with Neojibá, and to lead a didactic concert with the Bahía Symphony Orchestra (OSBA) in early June, 2010.
