Debut with YOA Camerata

An ecclectic mix of beloved string standards, seldom performed jewels of the repertoire and Latin American flare was performed by the string section of YOA-Camerata of the Americas at the Chesapeake Chamber Festival in St. Michaels, Maryland.

The intimate setting and familiar atmosphere contributed to the charm of the event, where music by Aldemaro Romero, Edward Elgar, Leos Janacek and Wolfgang Mozart elicited enthusiastic responses from the audience. Latin American encores followed, including the ever-popular tango "La Cumparsita" and Piazzolla's "Oblivion".
